Fever gone overnight home remedy
Fever gone overnight home remedy

It is always a struggle for moms when a child is sick, especially with a high fever. Our normal body temperature should be around 98.6 degree Fahrenheit or 37 degree Celsius. If temperature is above the normal, that is a sign of fever. Doctors define fever when body temperature reached 99.5 degree Fahrenheit or 37.5 degree Celsius and above. Fever can be frightening and can also lead to health problems especially for children. I have been there and have found this amazing way to get rid of fever overnight from a dear friend. Yes, fever is gone...overnight, using a simple home remedy. I myself was amazed. There is also a home remedy for cough.

I have used this method with my own child and it works! It is very easy and is found in your own home. No more driving to the pharmacy or store to get that fever syrup for your child who is clingy and whines every moment mommy moves away from sickly child. Forget about the sleepless night, waking up every hour to check child's temperature. No need to worry that the child will be fussing and can't sleep. This home remedy works fast and efficient with little effort to make. That means, no more worries for little precious child when fever strikes!

Children are very active and the first indication of a sick child is when they keep quiet and lethargic. Not in the mood for play, not in the mood for laughs. When this happens, something is going on inside their little body, unable to express it to mommy without whining or crying. The best thing to do is to check the child's temperature using a thermometer either a digital or the old fashion way to make sure. When there is an indication of fever, make sure to encourage the child to drink plenty of liquid to avoid dehydration. Besides, drinking water is good for everyone, sick and healthy. Drinking warm or lukewarm water is best and help your temperature neutralize. It is alright if the child doesn't feel like eating, it won't harm much to skip a meal, even favorable for stomach to rest. If the child feels sleepy, let him have it for the body to rest.

Here is what you have to do:

Before bedtime, prepare little amount of lukewarm water, cotton socks and wool socks.

Wet thoroughly or dampen the pair of cotton socks with lukewarm water and squeeze out some water depending on how wet you want it to be. Although, it is best to wet it just enough to avoid dripping water unto the bed.

Put on the pair of wet cotton socks onto the child's feet. Followed by the pair of dry wool socks like a second layer, covering the wet cotton socks fully.

You can relax and let the child sleep as they are usually tired.

* Please note that the method used has no guarantee for everyone. I have not researched on this matter but tried to do it with my child when the need arise as it is hard to see your child sick and uncomfortable. It has worked all the time.
