1 Safari base
Easy to follow instruction

It is a hands on putty activity where kids can design a safari adventure using the lava pods included in the box. The lava pods comes in 4 different colors, each an ounce and in little containers. With glitter dust added into the lava pods, it becomes shimmering and sparkly. The lava pods is kind of gooey, sticks easily on your skin, and can be messy. The package also points out that you can also inflate the lava pods but haven't tried doing that myself. Aside from that, it also snaps, pops and bounces as claimed on the package print.

So, we did some of the mesh using the colors included that comes with it. The following colors included were : Atomic aqua, Lime crush, Electric orange, Ruby red for this specific project. It was hard to control the lava as it was really soft and sticky, especially for little kids. It is a good idea to use a stick to spread out the lava on the mesh, to avoid sticking to fingers. It is also best use one color at a time and let it dry before adding on another color. The dried lava on the mesh turns the mesh sparkly and colorful. However, it is up to a child's imagination to design a different scenes by rearranging the mesh on the base. The base has 6 long slots where the mesh can fit in, making it stand by placing your pieces anywhere on the base to create different scenes.

Lava colors are available in 12 different colors and are sold separately.

Lime crush
Electric orange
Ruby red
Mellow yellow

Purple shine
Gold glitz
Atomic aqua
Blue blast
Pearly pink
Silver sparkle
Icy black
Wild berry

This is a one time project that you and your child can do together. It is fun but limited. Play with it and forget about it when done with the project or can be a carry it everywhere toy for the children.
