It's kinda late to post this saying but the words are just strong and true. It happens everywhere and in every home, family and friends are getting separated with so many reasons, making it hard to say "Merry Christmas" to one and all.
Think about the people who have crossed your path, be it a long encounter or a short one. The person who was sitting beside you in the bus. The person who waiting in line behind you while in the grocery store. The person helping you out in the post office. The grocery guy who always check if you need any help and is quick to find it for you. The lady who was introducing herself as the new neighbor. The cousin you never saw once in your life because she doesn't like to travel and you are so young to travel. A family member whom you had an argument and bowed never to speak with her again. The job that changed your residency and you love it thou you are so far away from your family. Or the sickness that cut you off from your family and friends. For all the reason there is, Christmas still comes every year and is celebrated by most people. It is also a time to rekindle our relationship and forget all the offenses, facing the new year with a smile and hope of a better year ahead.
To those we know and see each day but never had the chance to say,
And others who are far away because of work or want to be out of our way,
And those with time limitation we somehow keep out of touch,
Deep in our hearts, your name is carved in a single spot,
Waiting for the moment, a chance to say Merry Christmas.
