Please intercede for us....
She is a mother to me, to you and to all. She maybe the Mother of God, yet she is a mother to us. Many have come to ask her intercession, believing that through Mary to Jesus, asking favors to a mother dear is a sure grant. How could a mother disappoint her child?
As a child, I have learned to ask help from my mom. From the time I was born into the world, it was my mom who did all the work to raise me into adulthood and someday be a mom like her. Wait a minute, I can't even talk when I was born, how could my mother knew what is needed to be done? Isn't that amazing that from the time of birth, Mothers take care of their child naturally? Isn't it amazing that a mother can be so patient, carrying her child for nine months, wondering what is going on inside her tummy, growing big everyday, making it hard to see her feet one day? Isn't it amazing how a mother can be so loving - gently stroking the growing human life inside her and talking to her tummy, believing she is talking to somebody even when nobody is responding to her questions?
Ah...the beauty of motherhood! Changing the mother-to-be, her thoughts and her lifestyle to make sure the unknown fits right on her hand. Can't wait for the day when the child is face to face with a mother who is so eager to hold one beautiful gift from God - a child's life.
And my mother never disappoints me...
