Well, the summer is almost gone but the summer crops are still on the ground, producing whatever the sun and water encourage them to. This summer, my crops will all so thirsty and deprived of love from the gardener as I was gone for a month to attend a wedding and decided to go on a longer vacation. The crops may have been watered a few times but with the heat soaring so high, it keeps them thirsty and wilted all the time.
When I came back, it was a busy week after a long vacation and that adds more thirst to these already thirsty plants in my garden. What is really shocking are zucchinis growing so huge as long as they are attached to their mother plant. So, here is what I have collected after neglecting the zucchini from my garden for a month.
I have measured the biggest one and it is 20" long. I have enjoyed the rest by stir frying them in cubes with onions and herbs, a quick cooking that tastes so good knowing it is fresh and taste kinda sweet too. The big giant ones goes to the compost or as feed to animals.
