This is a very quick, simple and easy recipe that is so good. It was an experiment on my part but turn out my favorite. Not only is it quick but it was amazing on my part , after consuming my newly blended cactus with pineapple, my pain was gone. It did not occur to my until the next day, I felt so light and full of energy. The pains were always there every single day and becomes part of daily life, yet it only takes one drink of cactus with pineapple to shoo the pains away.
Here is what you need:
1-2 leaf Napolea Grande Cactus
1/2 can Pineapple chunks in it's own juice
Clean the cactus of it's hair like tiny spines called Glochids, including the green nubs that grow with it's mole like dots and cut them in halves or quarters. Add them to the blender together with the pineapple chunks and blend them for a minute or two, depending on how fine you want them to be. The pineapple will be enough to sweeten the drink. Please check the can if the pineapple is prepared in it's own juice as most of the canned pineapple are now canned in heavy syrup which add insult to injury - trying to be healthy with napolea cactus and pineapple with a sting of unhealthy corn syrup or processed sugar.
I drank mine immediately after blending. If you want a cold one, keeping the pineapple in the fridge until it's cold or ahead of time will make your blended drink cold and refreshing. You can still taste that cactus in the drink but the pineapple makes it a little less stronger and bearable.
